Based variously in Paris and New York, Atelier 17 operated as an experimental workshop for modernist printmakers during the mid-twentieth century. The efforts of its artists resulted in some of the most visually exciting and technically innovative prints ever made. Drawn from the holdings of the Cleveland Museum of Art and local collectors, this exhibition showcases more than 50 examples of these fascinating, often highly colorful works.
