The composition of two upright rectangular geometric forms impressed on paper in shades of ink creates the effect of three dimensionality and light falling through a gap and convey the message that time is as fugitive as light.
Time Lapse belongs to a series of prints with compositions of large geometric forms built up in painstakingly applied and layered impressions of black ink. The two upright rectangles here leave a gap between them creating the effect of light falling through them. Thus, work and title convey the message that time is as fugitive as light.
