Description

Cao Ou made this series of prints at age 28. The bold color scheme references traditional Chinese blue-and-green landscape paintings, and the scenery seems inspired by the famous West Lake in Hangzhou. However, the geometric blocky elements of the composition are reminiscent of virtual constructions of Minecraft, an online video game which everybody can join to be creative on a global scale.
