The vina is an Indian stringed instrument with gourd attached on each end as a resonator.
Madhava sits under a tree playing his vina. As two women draw water from the well in earthen pots, another woman on her way from the well has turned around to hear Madhava’s music. Two women on the right have dropped and broken their pots.
