Description

Photographing the interior of the Kew Gardens Palm House in London, Maar juxtaposes the botanical ornaments and structure of its distinctive Victorian ironwork staircase with the lacy, far less regimented leaves and trunks of the plants. Botanical studies by Maar contrast profuse foliage with spare, geometric built elements.
