Description

Blazey’s photograph suggests that, despite the Depression, Cleveland’s urban scene retained a sense of vitality. The photograph was taken from a high vantage point that allowed him to explore the modernist ploy of unusual camera angles. This photograph was a visual aid for his 1935 watercolor in the museum’s collection.
