Catalogue raisonné: Glaubinger 51; Teller 19
Cleveland-born Dehner, later based in New York, entered Atelier 17 in 1952, where she learned engraving. The precise, gracefully undulating lines in works such as Jane’s Poem may reflect her teenage studies in ballet. Similarly, Dehner’s youthful interest in poetry seems to be echoed in this print’s title.
