Description

In this image taken inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Elliott Erwitt aligns himself a few paces behind Augustus Saint-Gaudens’s sculpture Diana. The two take aim—the artist with his camera and the goddess with her bow and arrow—at an unsuspecting man striding down the long gallery corridor.
