Description

Domenico Beccafumi was a Mannerist painter and sculptor who completed several religious and civic commissions in his home town of Siena. An experimental printmaker, Beccafumi made a chiaroscuro print, mixing engraving and woodcut on the same sheet. This print is a rare impression of the engraved plate alone.
