Strömbergshyttan specialized in simple and sleek glass wares when elaborate decoration was more popular.
This hemispherical bowl with its thick walls became one of Strömbergshyttan’s most profitable models. Designed by Gerda Strömberg, the bowl was initially available in warm-tinted glass hues. This bowl is an early example of the manufacturer’s shift to glass wares in cooler gray-tinted shades.
