[The noble Thera Sambhutavijaya of the Māṭhara gotra had...] seven wise female disciples: Yakṣā, Yakṣādattā, there is also Bhūtā and Bhūtadattā, Seṇā, Veṇā, Reṇā, the sisters of Sthūlabhadra. The noble Thera Sthūlabhadra of the Gautama gotra had those two wise Theras as disciples: Noble Thera Mahāgiri of the Elāvatsa gotra, Noble Thera Suhastin of the Vāsiṣṭha gotra. In addition, the noble Thera Mahāgiri of the Elāvatsa gotra had those eight wise Theras as disciples: Thera Uttara, Thera Balissaha, Thera Dhanardhi, Thera Śirardhi, Thera Koḍiṇya, Nāga, Nāgamitra, Thera Chaluka Rohagupta of the Kauśika gotra. […] As follows: Kausambikā, Sautaptikā, Kauṭumbinī, Candanāgarī. In addition, the noble Thera Suhastin had those twelve wise Theras as disciples: 1, noble Thera Rohaṇa; 2, Bhadrayaśas; 3, master Megha; 4, Kāmardhi; 5, Susthita; 6, Supratibuddha; 7, Rakṣita; 8, and Rohagupta; 9, R̥ṣigupta; 10, Śrīgupta; 11, and master Brahmā; 12, and master Soma. They were indeed, the twelve of them, the principle disciples of Suhastin. In addition, thanks to the noble Thera Rohaṇa of the Kāśyapa gotra the gaṇa named ‘Uddehagaṇa’ was created.
