Description

The dance that inspired this elegant statuette was performed to the "Glowworm" music by German composer Paul Lincke (1866–1946). It gave Hoffman an opportunity to record not only Pavlova's graceful form, but also the legendary ease of her movements, the precise positioning of her feet, and the broad sweep of her arms.
