Miniature baskets were made to demonstrate the basket maker’s virtuoso skill; these tiny marvels seem to be no exception—the smallest are just a few millimeters wide but still patterned. Such fine work required dexterity both in weaving and in harvesting and preparing the plant materials used to create the basket.
