To Kill a Mocking Bird
Join us as we discuss different ways to integrate the Cleveland Museum of Art’s collection into teaching this American classic. We will illuminate core themes and provide opportunities to extend learning through the use of arts integration for language arts and social studies.
This webinar uses historic photographs and works of art from the Cleveland Museum of Art’s collection to help students to become familiar with the sort of visual environment that may have inspired author Harper Lee. We discuss images according to themes such as people, places, and the historical context of the 1930s.
