Can I use the app to create a tour for my school group?

  •  ARTLENS Gallery resources were developed for a general audience, and thus there are no customizations specifically aimed at school groups. However, teachers can follow these instructions to create and share tours with students:
    1. At home or at the museum, download the ArtLens App and select artworks you would like to include on your tour by clicking the heart button to favorite them. These works of art are then   saved to the “You” section of the app.
    2. Next, on the landing page that lists “Galleries, Tours, You and Museum,” select “Tours” and, at the top of the screen, scroll to “Create Your Own.”
    3. Select the works of art you would like to include on the tour by clicking on them and then press “Create a Tour” at the bottom of the screen.
    4. Name your tour and add a description.
    5. Sharing your tour with students is easy! Find your saved tour in the “You” section and, from there, select the share button next to the heart to email the tour, copy the link, or save the link to Dropbox.
    6. Even if you are outside the museum, pressing the “Favorite” button on your tour will cause it to rise to the top of the “Visitor Created” tours page, allowing your students easy access anywhere and on any device.
    7. Email artlens [at] clevelandart.org with any questions.
