Woodcut printed in black
Gift of The Print Club of Cleveland 1924.497
The block which will print the outline has now been completely cut. Ink is rolled across the surface and a sheet of paper is placed on top. Pressure is applied to the back of the sheet of paper—or the block can be put in a press—so that the ink transfers to the paper.
